Not to mention any of the many things Gen. Fonseka has said against himself, by saying that he hopes to go beyond the 13th Amendment he has guaranteed to himself the loss of votes amounting to 70% of the nation.
What he said about India appeared very artificial and also it did not please the 70% in addition to displeasing Pakistan our trusted friend.
Scenes of fire crackers around the country that were shown on TV today on Sunday 29th November 2009 gave me the impression that they were recordings made on the day when Prabakaran was killed.
We could hear more interesting sayings by the General in the days ahead enlivening the boring election period.
